On June 13th, I lost a very close friend. Aurora Lockwood, also known as Ember Whimsy from Montreal Quebec passed away. She was a Kind person, who always was always wiling to help others. She helped out and attended cons such as Anthrofest, Anthrocon, and C-ACE. To all those that knew her please take a moment to remember her and how she touched the lives of othres with her kindness.Current Mood:  sad |

Not much is going on with me as of late, Working and gearing up for AC, thats only a month and a bit away!
Still working hard on my new suit, MY tiger knight its looking good so far.

So.. at work today I was serving a lady.. She could not stop looking at me and when I looked back at her, she would turn away and kinda blush.
She made a rather large purchase and I asked her if she needed help taking the stuff to her car. She said o.k. and as we wer walking, she apologised for her behaviour and said that I look exactly like John Travolta.

This week has been one for the records. Not only did we loose Furp, someone I talked to on IRC ages ago, and met in Cali passed away, Another manager at work was in a severe car accident, He is alright but he cannot work due to him being on crutches.
Work is taking a toll out of me, I run a newer store in town, with high expectations. With the recient events I really have not been up to the challenges at work, plus looking over not only my store but the Other location my Manager friend is running.
Cleaning up the house today, we got a storage locker to throw lost our stuff into storage. MOst of it will be useful when ger geto our house. Thats our goal.

Well I am back form FC... and I had a Great time!
Thank you Ein! for allowing me to stay with you the week of the con, your such a sweety.
I had a great time seeing so many friends, and making new ones.
I even took the time to geocache and we found one at SiRF they actually make the GPS chips for navigation lol
wanted to also say thanks to the cubs who hosted the events this year :) You all did a great job out of the 4 rooms :)
Not going to really do a con report... cause i really did not do much at the con :P
I am sick too... yay for con Crud...........

Hey Everyone!
I am making my weekly general post.
2 days ago my grandmother died. She was in the hospital and I guess she went peacefully. Which is nice.
Also work cancelled my Vermont Vacation in May.. So I am a bit ticked off this week has been the shits. |

Alright, I just got in from one of the best shows ever!!
The opening act was the king of rock n' roll painting. I cannot remmeber the spelling of his name correctly so will edit the post later.
But the main act was the BLUE MAN GROUP!

I love being the manager at a Tim Hortons location.
This past week, after going to the bank to pick up a coin order, I returned to the store with 2 rolls of nickles dated betewwn the 1930-1949, and 2 rolls of quarters dated from 1955-1968.
The quarters are all Silver, mainly consisting of 1968 and 1967 (the 67 has a bobcat on it) and the nickles are mainly war nickles, 1944, 1945, and many 1947
